THE FOUNDERS

Our story starts like any epic comeback, with spite. this spite, of course, was created during the closing ceremony of an another MUN that the founders happened to be at. The closing ceremony, where awards are given and goodbyes are said, brought sorrow upon us due to our draft resolution not passing despite being the best solution for the people affected by the crisis.

This led to the creation of NALMUN on 19 August 2024, we figured if the paper didn’t pass and we couldn’t  get awards due to that, we would be better, that we would be equal and just. This event shaped us and the people working on NALMUN, forcing us to be the best version of ourselves that we could be, bringing you a better experience. 

To go further back, we acknowledge the creation of New Alliance, which itself was also made after our motto ‘Vox Populi, Vox Mundi’. This occurred when our opposing MUN BLOC called SUPER INCREMENT refused our ideas, saying ‘even with a neutral solution, the country wouldn’t benefit’. we got together as a separate entity and worked on a truly neutral solution ensuring no trouble would occur, this led to the creation of the bond that was the spark, which started the flame that is NALMUN, burning down any inequality in delegates, ensured via delegate training, detailed background and research guides as well as full support from the dais for all delegates, we are here purely for you.

We have planned everything in accordance to our observations and where goliath falls, the rise of David happened. Large numbers of people do allow for better socializing but it does result in the loss of the softer voice, which we want to enhance, this event is held by students, for students, forged in passion and polished to the finest degree.
